Nature-Board®, the sustainable grass board for your ecological packaging

The grass paper experts from Tornesch are launching a new product:

“Nature-Board®” is a grass paperboard offered in a mix of recycled and grass fiber in various grammages from 250 – 550 g/m². By dispensing with virgin fiber, the goal of sustainability is completely fulfilled here and meets the need to conserve resources.

As a foldingbox cardboard, the new grade can be used for all common packaging, whereby the already well-known fine and even structure of the grass fibers from Meldorf can also be found in this board material. This means that customers can offer their products in both corrugated and cardboard packaging in one and the same look.

This environmentally friendly packaging is the logical continuation of the idea of sustainability, particularly due to the combination of recycled paper with grass fibers. This is proven by the comparative and independently audited life cycle assessment of the Meldorf paper mill.

Nature-Board® is ideally suited for direct food contact with dry and non-greasy foodstuffs, as was previously the case with grass paper from Papierfabrik Meldorf.

With its lively background, Nature-Board® offers new possibilities for a print design that gives customers an unusual positioning on the market at first glance.

Corrugated board made from grass paper?

Of course it’s possible.
