Welcome to the Papierfabrik Meldorf in Schleswig-Holstein!
In the land between the seas, we produce corrugated base papers on a recycled basis and offer our customers sustainable paper grades in many variants and basis weights.
To this end, two paper machines with a working width of 2.50 m run around the clock to supply environmentally friendly packaging papers. In addition to recycled papers, grass fibers have also become an important raw material for production. As a result, we can offer our customers all common grades such as testliner, corrugating medium, and kraftliner replacement papers, as well as grass-based liner and fluting papers.
Our services for your success:
- Attention to your specific and individual product requirements
- Efficient and customer-oriented new developments
- Flexible production and short delivery times through rapid grade changes
- Economical manufacturing of niche products and small production slots
Depending on the grade, we can supply grammages from 120 gsm to 200 gsm at a working width of up to 2.50 m.

Our paper – Our diversity
> Nature-Liner® varieties <
The mixed paper made from grass and recycled fibres is becoming increasingly popular.
A diverse range of products are already produced from our Nature-Liner®. Manufacturers and packaging companies are increasingly switching to natural corrugated base paper, making use of the beautiful, unique appearance for their sustainability strategies safe in the knowledge that no compromises are made in terms of stability or finishing. Both printing and bonding perform flawlessly as before and don’t require any adjustments in the production process.
The grass fibres immediately attract attention. In doing so, they immediately demonstrate the unique character of the environmentally friendly packaging. A reduced print image can also simplify subsequent recycling processes by saving ink. In addition, our paper itself is fully recyclable and suitable for dry, non-greasy foods.

Innovation through expertise
In recent years, we have focused both technically and organisationally on producing high-quality niche products such as our K-Liner, white papers and small quantities. In the coming years, we will continue to pursue measures to produce high-quality papers for the high-quality print sector. Our aim is to expand as a service-oriented company to serve the entire corrugated board market. We consider our strengths to be flexibility, speed and a customer-oriented approach. That is why the development of innovative products such as Nature-Liner® with a grass fibre content and other new grades of paper is very much the focus of our future strategy, so that we can continue to play a pioneering role in the market in the future. The combination of traditional expertise and the willingness to try out new ideas is what makes us so special. Our hands-on management team enables us to respond comprehensively and quickly to our customers’ needs.
